The payoff of the suicidal Protective-Shell stunt: with both engineers and the onboard war mage killed by the shell, Carl fights the over-pressurizing “Shattering Train Bomb” boiler to a stop with Fire Brandy’s help and takes control of the entire Nightmare Express. He jumps three levels to 32, banks a Platinum Big Daddy Box plus three neighborhood-boss boxes and the “Three Cheers for Slaughter” achievement, and loots the Steam Engineer’s Key, granting access to all 400 steam trains of the Tangle. He didn’t just survive a named train. He stole one.
