The word “Pacifist” sinks Carl's heart: most anti-crawl groups buy a sponsorship only to run ad time and never send a crawler any loot. Yet OIPAN gambles on him hard, paying out a Silver Benefactor Box (a worthless Toraline tuber). Mordecai notes they must have endless cash or be betting everything on Carl, since he's the only crawler they back. Their true interest in him stays a mystery.

• Chapter 7 — Announced as Carl’s second sponsor; Mordecai is baffled an anti-crawl group would send a benefactor box.
• Chapter 34 — Spends a fortune on an emergency platinum box (the custom head-tosser) to protect Carl mid-plan; signed by CEO Dr. P. Hu.
• Chapter 99 — Revealed to be all-in on Carl: its CEO Dr. P. Hu is secretly Porthus, the cookbook’s 2nd-edition author; the lava-yam they sent has a hidden purpose beyond healing Chris.
