Oozy Form

A special-edition spell book that arrives in the safe-room mailbox, escapes across the floor on dozens of little legs, bangs into the kitchen cabinets and coats Carl in clear slime once the cleaner bot retrieves it. The spell turns the caster into a slime: a puddle on the floor, a body that slips through cracks, good for defence and camouflage and functionally close to Phase. Being a special edition it trains faster, and at level 15 the form can be held indefinitely — below that Mordecai warns to be somewhere safe when it lapses. Donut declares it disgusting and refuses it, so Carl reads it instead.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 7 — Donut mishears the name as Uzi and expects a gun; Mordecai takes a vial of the book's slime, and points out that Carl's Gloom Wraith Phase is an attack rather than a travel spell, which settles who reads it.
