Protective Shell

A spell that throws up a transparent, floor-to-ceiling hemispherical force field for about twenty seconds (30-hour cooldown). Carl acquires it by looting the Enchanted BigBoi Boxers from the boss box and immediately hotlists it; he first uses it in combat several chapters later, where it blocks the Rage Elemental’s claws, the only thing standing between Carl and certain death, and becomes a cornerstone of his survival kit.
