The Defeat of Scolopendra

The gods were the backup plan. The actual plan was a banger sphere with an enriched pet biscuit inside it. With his inventory swapped away by Eris and ten seconds on the clock, Carl talks Donut through searching for the two components, combining them and dropping the result into his xistera; he puts the motorcycle down, launches them both into the air and throws it into the boss's open mouth as she winds up the third of nine attacks. The stadium-sized centipede splatters onto the arena floor as a gelatinous puddle roughly the size of a small elephant — not killed, which matters, because killing her would start the final attacks. The System's achievement for it spells out its own disbelief one word per line and offers no reward at all.

• Chapter 97 — The dungeon's largest entity is put down by a thrown bomb carrying a pet biscuit; Uzi Jesus, poking at the puddle a minute later, reports it is full of people's auras.
