Sexy Scolopendra Joins the Party
The plan was a pet: the biscuit description said the boss would come back as an ordinary pet reset to level 1, which is what made her the ultimate fail-safe — carried in Carl's inventory, dying if he died, and therefore starting the final attacks if anyone killed him. What drains out of the goo instead is a human-sized centipede with a woman's face, giant lips, no arms, twin yellow antennae and a red bow on one of them, and the System announces a new party member: Sexy Scolopendra, level 1, crawler #12,953,456. Donut, working from a swapped inventory at speed, had handed him the wrong biscuit — so the dungeon's final boss is not a pet at all, but a crawler, transformed the way Commander Stockade was. She wraps herself around Carl, tells him they should get through the portal, and boops his nose.
