Shade Gnoll Riot Forces

The real, mercenary version of the unit Carl only knew from a Floor-One kneepad enchantment: hyena-like shade gnolls (the same race as the murdered NPC Growler Gary) in full plastic body armor with rank insignia, pulse rifles, wrist scanners, and, incongruously, old-school diver’s flippers dangling at the waist. Two of them drop into the orbital security checkpoint to scan and frisk Carl and Donut for explosives before the show.
