Temporary Macaroni

The spell attached to Luca Di's entry in Donut's A Banquet Fit for a Princess, illustrated with a drawing of a bent tube of pasta and cast at level 14. Donut's copy is enhanced to 15, which lets her choose the conjured tube's size, shape and direction; it costs ten mana and can be chained. In Heat Three she picks dried uncooked cannelloni fifteen feet tall and twenty feet wide, a foot thick in the wall, and chains tube after tube into a tunnel that keeps the raining sugar hermits off the truck.

• Chapter 32 — Donut casts it through the shattered windscreen and chains giant dried cannelloni into a road tunnel; the pasta holds against the falling skulls, though the hermits surge through the gaps between tubes.
