Overkill on the River of Sloth
The truck clears the hidden basement entrance and Joel the undead camel is wedged into the driver's seat so Carl can keep his hands off the controls. Carl deploys Gutter Bumper down the lazy river and Donut's Ice Slick freezes the whole watercourse, trapping hundreds of inner-tube gingers; a chained line of surplus weapons dragged behind the truck cuts through them, and Donut's Summon Ye, Vermin brings a wave of zipper shrews that unpeels Maurice, the heat's boss, and destroys the engineer he was guarding. The quest completes, with the System needling them for the overkill. Bored, Satan headbutts the park's loop-de-loop off its footings, dropping Florin's tuk-tuk and team Sparkles' vine out of the air and burying the truck in debris. Lucienne, dragged off her own vehicle by Donut's rodent summons and poisoned by the park air, is beating on the windshield when the finish line's invisible barrier forces her through the glass and out the back of the truck.
