The Celestial Thorn Room
A rare, high-stakes decision event the System sprang inside Asojano's temple: “not a throne room, a thorn room.” The frozen party is shown seven broken Orisha shrines and a single floating “Sun of Reawakening” gem, and may repair exactly ONE. Each choice carries a gift and a cost: Ogun's (his worshippers merely dodge a smite), Legba's (50% smite-dodge chance + Confusing Fog), Shango's (a trainable Lightning spell), Oshun's (five fatal-blow saves + charisma + Heal Party), Asojano's (win the quest, cure the town), Inle's (condition immunity + Constitution), or Yemaya's (she re-ascends, gifts each squad a card, and her friend the goddess Eileithyia grants a boon). The System gloats about the obvious trap: secret motivations splitting the group, gods charming the choosers in real time. Acting on Katia's desperate private plea, Carl picks Yemaya over the safe play.
