Cerni Pinta
A guest the System files as a Non-Player Tourist: a thin stick-figure alien of a species called a bristle, long dripping quills standing out of every exposed surface. Carl finds her strung up in orange webbing in a club corridor, flayed and tortured down to a sliver of health, begging him to kill her before her tormentor comes back. Her file is worse than her condition — she is vice president of a medical collections agency that repossesses implants and takes debtors as indentures, and she is checked into room #422 with her three husbands. Carl pulls one quill for his inventory, decides that wanting her to suffer is not who he is, and is still saying 'hang on' when Scolopendra's second attack resolves. She rolls red, thanks the gods, and the worms take her.
