Donut's Fifty Million Credit Non-Offer

Cornered by Chandra's filings, Donut asks her own attorney whether offering fifty million credits to have her stopped by any means necessary would be legal. Told it would not, she announces to the reporters on the negotiation feed that she is emphatically not offering fifty million credits to anyone who finds this snake and turns her inside out, nor an additional five million to whoever takes the head and turns it into a hat — and that the order she is not placing could be cancelled if Chandra changed her mind about stealing from the Princess Posse. Chandra's own hired killers message her seconds later asking for her coordinates.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 0 — Delivered standing on the table on all fours atop the pile of filings, her projection overlapping Chandra's folder. Donut's argument is that the Princess Posse is more than herself and Carl, that it is everywhere, and that being outside the dungeon protects nobody. Chandra's answer, that it is not stealing if it is done legally, comes out less confident than she intends.
