Epitome Tagg

Warlord of 'the Dream,' the dream-elf faction Carl's party slaughtered across Floor Six, and one of the richest beings in the galaxy: his people hold food-growing patents over whole solar systems (live in the wrong place and your body cannot digest their food without a license). Bald, regal and deceptively bored-looking, he is the photo-mom's son: his mother, Epitome Noflex, is the bald elf whose picture caused all of Louis's trouble. At the meeting he loses his composure entirely as Juice Box (wearing Noflex's face) taunts him, demanding Cascadia intervene and filing appeal after appeal as the floor's NPCs 'become self-aware.'

Book 6 appearances

• Chapter 21 — Introduces himself as warlord of the Dream; revealed as the son of Epitome Noflex (the photo that vexed Louis), and rattled when Juice Box impersonates her.
• Chapter 22 — Insists a tenth NPC team is impossible, then flees when Juice Box’s detonator appears.
