Mordecai pegs her as far more dangerous than her level suggests: easily level-15-equivalent in Race Shifter, able to become a gorgon, rocksling, or forge ogre in a blink. Carl puts her on retainer to spot any non-local crawlers in town, a gold coin per head. She dotes on Donut, to Donut’s fury.

• Chapter 34 — Fully awake to her NPC nature, she carries the real gate box through to Larracos to spread the truth, and reveals she’s in love with and marrying Louis.
