Festering Ghoul

Moss-covered, bark-skinned mobs riddled with sores like gunshot wounds: what stage-one DTs victims become when they die and rise again. Crucially they are NOT undead but a new lifeform in the old shell, so anti-undead attacks are useless (a double-tap to the head still helps). Each one is born knowing the way to the trainyards and driven by two purposes: devour all organic matter, and gather more of its kind, toward some unspoken critical mass.
