Station & Repair Hub

The fenced staging yards (Hub E, Yard A, substations B–E…) the pass-through portals dump you into, at least a mile from portal to fence, dotted with prison-style watchtowers and a baseball-field turntable. Engine cars and ghouls return here; the broken Rev-Up disposal system means the yards are overrun with Festering Ghouls pushing down the fences. Outside each yard stands a brutalist Soviet-style substation where conductors and porters materialize, and where the fiction of employee dorms at 'station 60' falls apart: there are no families, just mandatory overtime and false memories.
