Milk

A xenopus (born a vesper) NPC, a half-frog, half-bat creature, who is guildmaster of the hidden Cartography and Calligrapher's Guilds inside Club Vanquisher, a former crawler who took a tenth-floor deal and reached top level 73. Author of the sixth edition of the Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook, she is bound by an indentureship contract until her services are used 333 times and has slept through whole seasons in shame. She first shelters the fleeing crawlers Miriam, Prepotente and the hellspawn Bianca, giving them her map of Club Vanquisher's secret exits. When Carl finally reaches her guild in the chaos of the naga raid, the two recognize each other as kindred: fellow Cookbook authors, ‘sister’ and ‘brother’ in the same lost cause, and she folds him into her leathery wings as he finally lets himself break down.
