Team Meadow Lark

The team the System credits with employing Grigori the Placid at the moment Carl examines him in the Lollipop. Elle McGibbons and Imani C are the ones who hired the fleshmancer and kept him sequestered in their safe room, where he traded healing technique with Imani; by the following chapter his mercenary ownership has been signed over to Carl and Donut's guild. The team is named nowhere else in the stretch, and nothing of its roster is given.

• Chapter 54 — Named in the examine text as the team the hired fleshmancer belongs to, while he sits in the Lollipop between Louis and Linus.
• Chapter 56 — By the time Carl and Donut are called to the stage, mercenary ownership of Grigori has been transferred away to their own guild.
• Chapter 84 — Chris's human form puts him back in his Meadow Lark work overalls, the clothes he was collected in, which he has had no practical need for since.
