The Crawlers’ Farewell Gift

In the final minutes before the 9th floor's destruction, with the Posse's Faction Wars victory not yet confirmed, guildmaster Milk gathers the surviving and former crawlers in the rings of Larracos to honor Carl and Donut. Those taking deals each painted three skills or spells (one for Carl's Book of Voodoo, one for Donut's Banquet Fit for a Princess, and one onto their own communal page) permanently surrendering the abilities; many also left gear in the guild for distribution. The former crawlers, unable to transfer skills, instead rained the white-and-gold plains flowers and bright streamers down over the broken city as the ‘Hup, hup, hup’ chant rose.
