Mehmet Or, and the Half-Pipes
A Book of Boom page opens the chapter: Mehmet Or, a human Sipahi and Istanbul bowling-alley owner who took a deal at the end of the eighth floor, begs Carl's forgiveness, asks him to find his daughters Azra and Yaz, and leaves behind the spell Gutter Bumper. On the track, Princess Donut shouts steering corrections at a clockwork Olga down the half-pipes while zipper shrews, splatter penguins and axe-carrying gingers swarm the truck. Satan rolls onto his back and collapses a loaded roller coaster. Florin plans to hit Dwight with Denial of Service missiles at the loop while Lucia Prime, back in her own body, drives. Carl raises the dead camel Joel as backup, then runs the truck up the park wall on its spider legs to skip the trapdoor that drops the field into the waterworks — and the clockwork Olga falls out of the driver's door.
