Into the Screw Factory
The heat enters the Gasworks Screw Factory, Steel Mill, and Doll Workshop and the survival containments go live, with any five-second vehicle contact merging two of them. The first hall is stacked fifteen metres high with metal pellets and staffed by hundreds of knockers, hard-hatted level 10-15 NPCs that scatter and get mown down. Carl clears his windshield with roof charges, showers Osvaldo in shrapnel and follows the Lady Dominators' GTO onto a conveyor belt, while Prepotente and Jurgen — aboard Sweety, identified by Dong Quixote as a Perriso — break Carl's containment merge and put rocket volleys into the Dominators' car until its shield drops. Bianca is sent ahead to lift Corky out of their back seat, with Donut's newly eaten Big-Ass Magnet as the fallback. Carl fires the untested rocket booster, overshoots the ninety-metre gap and recovers on the Bubble Buddy. The next room turns out to be heaped with Toddler Cocaine, the Coblyn Corporation's secret child-market product, and crashing vehicles put the whole hall under a blinding white cloud.
