Character · debuts Book 8, Chapter 51 — “The Girl Inside Lucia Mar”
Azra
One of the voices inside Lucia Mar
The first of the presences inside Lucia Mar to give a name. She surfaces when the goddess withdraws - shrunk back, shoulders hunched, cold and frightened - and asks Carl whether he knows her father, because the shining lady told her he had been given one of her father's spells. Carl guesses correctly that her father owns a bowling alley, which makes him Mehmet Or, the support caster whose page he ate to prepare Gutter Bumper, and he tells her that her father is safe and loves her. She says another of the trapped, Yaz, is there too and crying, and that the angel lady keeps saying it might be better if they all died because people are coming to take their bodies. Florin's demand for more names startles her into running for the garages.
