Genesis

A black-haired womantaur who walks on four limbs, the forward pair actually a second set of hands stuffed into long boots, and who stands upright with an audible crack of the spine. She and Rapture cross the cul-de-sac to look over Carl's team, conclude there is no competition there and leave for the Hairpin. Both wear white racing suits with a red-and-blue stripe and matching white cowboy hats, both worship Enyo rather than Grull, and both practise domination magic.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 13 — Emerges from garage number three with Rapture, inspects Carl's group, dismisses them as roadkill and heads for the Hairpin.
• Chapter 20 — Genesis greets Carl with a sneer and proposes a temporary truce for the rest of the race now that the guck elementals have been pasted, tells the hired Taurin to go handle the boss himself, and declares the group pickled once it heals to full.
