Rapture

Genesis's freckled, red-curly-haired partner, who says nothing through the whole encounter and spits chewing tobacco three times instead. She fires a cabled harpoon bolt out of her wrist to spear a rolling beer can, shreds the can retracting it, then has to put a hand back into a boot with the wreckage inside and limps off on it.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 13 — Silent throughout the meeting on the cul-de-sac; harpoons a rolling beer can out of the road and leaves with Genesis for the Hairpin.
• Chapter 18 — Rapture is the driver Donut's Danforth bolt is trained on at the starting line: root her in place, then let Chiyome's bear knock the car out from under her.
• Chapter 20 — Rapture backs Genesis's truce, telling Carl they do not want him dead just yet.
