The best of Dr. Metcalf's three final-heat upgrades
The pick of three separate GPS upgrades Carl's crew scraped together before the last race. The other two were a standard upgrade that let them see their placing in the heat and an integrated weapons control system; this one was golden tier, and it raised Dr. Metcalf's processing power enough that she could overclock vehicle systems and — more importantly — show rival GPS units only what the crew wanted them to see. The upgrades were more than enough to satisfy her: her acerbic manner disappeared entirely, though she still refused to take the gag off Dorota.
