Enchanted Juvenile Macropus Dominus Skin

The skin of a dead kangaroo joey, peeled off the NPC engineer Niels and pulled on as an outer garment over Carl's own gear. It has gloves built into the arms ending in long clawed nails and thick pads on the palms that still transmit touch, and it grants protection from seeping acid, a level 10 Jump skill and a bonus to Lotion Application. It negates the wearer's boxer and pedicure effects, leaves him unable to walk at all — only hop — and the System will not let it come off until the timer expires.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 21 — Carl pulls the head over his own with an audible click, his boxers and kneepads ending up outside the costume, and immediately falls on his face because the System will not let him walk in it.
• Chapter 22 — Mordecai warns that with the costume skill at level 6, stripping it will take a lot of skin with it; Carl also cannot work the truck's pedals in the thing.
• Chapter 23 — Carl discovers the paws transmit touch when he can feel the wetness of the note a gremlin hands him.
• Chapter 24 — Still on him when Imani arrives at the garage; she asks what he is wearing and lets it drop.
