Shi Maria Sealed

Through the shared Glory-Bound dream and Mordecai's expulsion salve, Carl witnesses Shi Maria devour her god-husband Hapanzi in a jealous rage. Hapanzi mysteriously reappears and seals her behind the eye-tattoo on Carl's chest. She is no longer a possession but a one-time bomb: Carl can summon her once, at which point she chooses to seize his body or return to her own form.
