Sister Ines Quiteria
Crawler #8,199,462, Level 47: a Discalced Carmelite nun reborn as a Havana brown Cat Girl, the only race that boosted the charisma behind her Word Weaver spell and unlocked the Poet Laureate class. She leads the trio Carl and Donut meet at the Havana stairwell, though she lets the men do the posturing. A bard healer, she buffs allies and lays afflictions, reciting poems and prayers rather than singing. Gentle but iron-firm, “today is a new day; we don't worry about yesterday” is her standing rule against asking anyone about their past, and she keeps the volatile Anton in check with a single touch on the shoulder, and refuses to worship the false god Ogun. Donut distrusts her on sight purely for being a rival cat (a Havana brown, no less), and Carl senses there is far more to her than she lets show.

- Chapter 55 — Samantha’s teleport shatters her charm and drops the whole army onto Carl; in the boss battle she preaches that the dungeon is literal Hell and the aliens are demons.

- Chapter 60 — Fully turned: juiced by her Nebular sponsors she now controls the demon-possessed Madre de Aguas and Sheol pleasure demons, threatening to smash the church unless Carl comes to her instead of the exit.
- Chapter 61 — Her pleasure demons keep ranged hell-portal attacks on the church, but she steadily loses her grip on Amayon as he fights to cast his own escape spell.
- Chapter 64 — Holed motionless near the top of the FOSCA tower, controlling only Amayon now: secretly steadied by her Nebular sponsors and the goddess Ysalte.
