Sluggalos

The slug army Carl breeds inside the Mercenary Arcade: Doctor Bones casts his superior Super Spreader to infect the whole Penis Parade barracks at once, so the regenerating mercs endlessly leak SlugPox slugs: wolf-sized punk-rock “Sluggalos” with mohawks, clown makeup, even a hatchet growing out of one's neck. Doctor Bones's Conscript spell makes them fight on Carl's side, sort of: aggressive, rebellious, prone to swallowing allies, breeding by the hundreds. Born in the arcade, the lower-level ones are sent out as expendable infantry (Imani hurls them at the zombie demons until the church is clear) while the strongest are kept in the upgraded barracks for the next floor.

Book 6 appearances

• Chapter 61 — Imani discovers a barracks full of hundreds of them and starts feeding the low-level ones out the door to the soul-hungry demons.
• Chapter 64 — Forty-odd of them, wrangled by the strippers, herd toward the church as Carl’s growing Faction-Wars infantry.
