Tempest

Quasar's niece, a Nullian young enough that he still buys her toys, living with her father a long way outside the tunnel system. She calls her uncle mid-crisis with blood at her temple to report that Taurins have come looking for him and hurt her dad, and then, while the lead enforcer is still monologuing into the camera about the contract he has taken, she shoots him and the one behind him with the very illegal blaster Quasar gave her. Law-enforcement sniffers paste warning marks over the unregistered weapon within seconds and take no interest whatsoever in the bodies, which Quasar registers as the galaxy in miniature. Her first instinct afterwards is to go and check on her father.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 87 — Interrupts Quasar's summons with a panicked call: Taurins hired by Princess Chandra have hurt her father and grabbed her, and she kills two of them with the illegal blaster her uncle gave her while one is still on camera. Quasar sends Kiki to the house and follows behind.
