Chandra's Contract on Quasar's Family
Princess Chandra's answer to being hunted: rather than face Quasar in the hearing on the legality of her marriage certificate, she takes out a contract on his family. Taurins arrive at his brother's house on the far side of the galaxy while Quasar waits to be summoned into a client meeting, hurt his brother and put his niece on camera as leverage. The lead enforcer is halfway through explaining, courteously, that he took the contract from Quasar's client's wife when Tempest shoots him dead, and then the second one. Quasar sends help, accepts the summons anyway rather than let Carl be reassigned, and then hires Kiki with one credit for both legal help and the other kind. It converts an attorney who had spent a whole career playing strictly by the rules into someone with nothing left to protect.
