The Fall of the Wasteland

The floor’s centerpiece set-piece. Carl’s crew rides the hijacked Vahana up toward the dreadnaught Wasteland as it positions to bomb Hump Town. Donut’s Hole drops the gnome crew out the basket; Langley’s archers missile the escort planes; Carl’s guided rockets cook off the dreadnaught’s hanging bombs, including its fuel-air Knock-Knocks. The whole airship detonates and breaks apart, raining gnomes and metal, while the trio survives the fall by drinking Dolores Doesn’t Splat. Hump Town is saved, the castle’s armor is gone, and only Commandant Kane’s little balloon-house floats away intact. Carl jumps to level 43.
