The Vahana (Gnomish Legate Balloon)

The oldest vehicle left on the Wasteland: a black-and-gold-striped hot-air Legate balloon, ribboned like a circus float, that once symbolized gnomish neutrality and the arrival of peace ambassadors. When winged predators came through a portal and refused to share the sky, the gnomes scrapped most Legates for armor and turned their sky gardens into dreadnaughts. Carl’s crew hijacks this surviving Vahana mid-air: the platform from which they pitch out the gnome envoy and missile the Wasteland’s bombs.

• Chapter 11 — Descends to collect Wynne; the crew boards under Donut’s healer ruse.
• Chapter 12 — Hijacked into a weapons platform for the strike on the Wasteland.
