Gremlin DJ

The gremlin who works the booth at the crawler bar's sing-along night, and the reason the Royal Court's duet happens at all: he sets one microphone on a stand at cat height for Donut, slaps the second into Carl's palm, angles the lyric screens at the stage and calls the start. Moments earlier he had been down on the floor shouting at the drunk unicorn Dwight, who had shoved his way to the booth and knocked Prepotente sprawling. As the synth-pop starts, Dwight puts his horn through the DJ's face. The performance gauges stay up over the singers' heads with the booth unmanned, so Carl and Donut get exactly one attempt at the song; the corpse Dwight is still wearing on his horn then becomes the projectile that starts the brawl.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 55 — Working the booth when the drunk unicorn shoulders through the gremlins to reach it and shoves Prepotente aside; the DJ is left shouting down at Dwight, who has sat himself on the floor.
• Chapter 56 — Sets a stand microphone at Donut height, slaps a second into Carl's palm, angles the lyric screens toward the stage and calls the music in — and is stabbed in the face by Dwight's horn on the first bar.
• Chapter 57 — Dead on the unicorn's horn before the first verse, which is why the duet has to be right on the first attempt; his corpse is slung across the room into Yuto and starts the general brawl, and the booth he had been working blows out in sparks later that night.
