Heat Five Results

The standings the System posts the moment the fifth heat closes. Team Sparkles takes it, Team Free Love is second, Team Flamengo third and the Royal Court of Princess Donut fourth; Lady Dominators and the Gimp are eliminated. Reading the wider list afterward, Carl works out that of the sixty teams that started the heat only eighteen came out of it, which makes his own group one of the worst hit of the race so far.

• Chapter 67 — Carl goes over the full list back in the garage and finds that only eighteen of the sixty teams that started the heat survived it, while Prepotente reports that his is the only other team from their own group still alive.
