Infused Elemental
System warning · elemental variant
The System's warning tag on any elemental the knockers built with their own product mixed into it. An infused elemental differs from the ordinary kind by carrying the pass-through ability, which the warning declines to explain on the grounds that you are about to find out — in practice it means the thing walks straight through a containment or protection shield. Infusion is also contagious, which is why the doll workshop was sealed off until the race broke the seal, and it is what makes the factory's slag elementals reform instead of dying. Carl first reads it on a Toot-Toot doll and again on a level 75 Slag Elemental.
Book 8 appearances
- Chapter 64 — Printed on Carl's examine of a Toot-Toot doll, with the pass-through ability left deliberately unexplained. Carl works out its meaning when the figures come through an active shield onto the truck.
- Chapter 65 — Repeated on the Slag Elemental examine alongside the regenerator warning, and named again in the System's summary of what the Coblyn Corporation's cheap protections actually produced.
