Cocaine Elemental

The knockers' worst accident. Preparing to defend the factory, they cast elemental magic in the steel mill to raise their boss monsters, and some of it leaked next door into the doll workshop, where every toy's metal frame is already infused with their own blend. The result is a whole room of animate toys — giant-headed Barbie- and Bratz-style dolls and G.I. Joe-style soldier figures alike, each about the size of the Uzi Jesus toy Eris carries — that swarm, climb and tear vehicles apart while smoking and melting in the mill heat, keeping up a stream of flavour-mascot patter and drug-trade threats the whole time. Examples run around level 12. They are infused elementals, so they carry the pass-through ability and walk straight through a containment shield; the magic is also contagious, which is why the room was sealed until the race broke it open. A closing door or a boot ends one, but the crates keep opening.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 64 — Debut. A group of them surrounds the wrecked GTO and starts ripping it apart; Donut's Magic Missile blows a mass away and more keep coming. Carl examines one — a Toot-Toot doll, level 12 — and gets the leak explanation plus the pass-through warning. A crate of My First Sicarios figures splits open and swarms the truck's roof and sides, and Donut objects that action figures should not be cocaine elementals.
• Chapter 65 — A dozen ride the truck's hood into the molten-metal hall, army-crawling for the windshield and occasionally flying off, while more female dolls climb screaming out of a second floor-hole, melting as they come.
