Monk Seal Picket Sentry

The first T'Ghee totem the party captures: a 400-pound Caribbean monk seal (Yago, then Geraldo) that rears fully upright on its tail and fights in a screaming, backflipping style the System dubs “Caribbean Kung Fu,” body-slamming hard enough to crack a beach to dust and casting a ranged-attack-blocking Deflector shield. These Level 70 aquatic melee tanks are fast and fight dirty, guarding the coast in their eternal “Chowder War” against the Red Maníseros Land Crabs, a deliberately absurd System quest (reward: a Platinum Quest Box) over the crabs spawning in the seals' holy waters. Captured by stabbing a squad flag into one below 5% health, a monk seal becomes a 60-second summonable minion with 125 Constitution; Donut takes Geraldo as squad member one.

Book 6 appearances

• Chapter 6 — Captured as the party’s first T’Ghee totem, kicking off the absurd Chowder War quest against the land crabs.
• Chapter 24 — The crabs’ massed southern migration brings the Chowder War to a head as Carl looks to flag one for comparison.
• Chapter 29 — As Donut’s totem he’s a solid tank but brawls with the crab Raul whenever both are summoned.
• Chapter 48 — Hundreds of dead monk-seal warriors wash up on the Florida beach as Chowder-War casualties, each tagged “killed in mass combat.”
• Chapter 55 — The Chowder War ends in mutual annihilation; the surviving seals and crabs are swept into the demon-eviction boss battle.
• Chapter 56 — The warrior Geraldo is summoned as one of Donut’s card totems in the demon-eviction boss battle.
• Chapter 67 — Yago returns 25 levels stronger as one of Ysalte’s totems, hunting the marked Louis through the tower.
