Team Helix

A mercenary squad Rosetta hires as a single three-for-one contract: Olga the Grulke, Finley the Porsuk and Quemada the fire fairy. They have worked together for some time and have already raced two heats, finishing first and second, though Olga refuses to count the second — a chain-wielding demon cheated, killed one of their two clients and killed their friend Helado, and would have finished the rest of them if her partner had not intervened. Olga and Finley drive; Quemada is protection.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 34 — Rosetta introduces team Helix to Carl and Donut; Quemada immediately triples the agreed fee and Carl pays rather than lose two drivers before the fourth heat.
• Chapter 35 — The squad walks into Hungry Eyes Village with Carl and Donut so the crew can get to know them before the race.
