Volteeg
gargoyle Cookbook author · Weeper commander
A former pet (a singing sturnus bird) who took a pet biscuit and chose to become a gargoyle, gaining intelligence but losing his song: a choice he forever regrets after failing to protect his beloved owner Mistress Henspar, who died on the seventh floor. Author of the seventh edition of the Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook, he wrote only one shamed entry. A ‘One-Off’ with no home outside the dungeon, he was smuggled back into Faction Wars as Weeper Commander Volteeg of the Operatic Collective via Porthus and the Pacifist Network rewriting his designation. Spurred by Porthus (‘It's not too late’), he fills his Weeper with explosives and detonates it in the Bloc's center.
