Amayon
One of the four crown princes of Sheol and, per Samantha, the youngest brother of the demon “King.” When the zombified City Boss Madre de Aguas dies and rises during the Demon Eviction, a full-power major demon (Amayon) slips into the body: the rare “boss-level zombie” catastrophe the System warned about. He likes to set things on fire (“kinda like Emberus, they don't like each other”) and perches the snake atop a Havana spire, pouring Sheol fire into the sky while demon seagulls circle. His mere presence converts Carl's fire spells to Sheol Fire and wakes the Scavenger's Daughter patch. Emberus's standing quest to find Geyrun's killer flags him as a being worth interrogating, and Sister Ines, juiced by her Nebular patrons, bends even a prince of hell to her will.
Book 6 appearances
- Chapter 58 — Slips into the fallen, risen Madre de Aguas as a Demon Prince; his arrival converts Carl’s fire to Sheol Fire and opens the Scavenger’s Daughter’s eyes.
- Chapter 60 — Pours Sheol fire over Havana from a spire and is forced by Sister Ines to bellow for Carl, proof she can command even a prince of hell.
- Chapter 62 — The “Where the Sidewalk Ends” quest names him a level-250 prince betrayed and expelled; freeing him from the snake would turn it into a never-before-seen World quest.
- Chapter 66 — The collapsing snake drops him to the street at full demon-prince size, still enslaved to Ysalte by the Missing Piece card battle.
- Chapter 69 — Buffed by Carl’s souls and Sheol fire, he finally casts his portal home while trapped punching himself in Donut’s spell.
- Chapter 72 — Free at last, he ascends through a planet-spanning portal back toward Sheol to wage war on his brothers, leaving the keyless a ride to Floor 9.
