Bucket Boy
A scrawny young crocodilian working the Desperado Club's male revue, scooping up the gold the audience throws at the dancers — which is the whole of his name. The System lists him at level 10 when Carl first sees him. Hired with the rest of the club's crew as mercenaries for the crawlers' Faction Wars army, he turns out to carry healing magic: modest, unreliable, outclassed by any professional, and the only spare pair of hands the field hospital has. He follows Imani through the ninth-floor war as an apprentice medic, panics under fire, gags his way through a birth, and still ends up elbow-deep in the surgery that saves Louis. In a moment of shared minds he is glimpsed quietly ashamed that he cannot remember the past lives the other hired dancers claim — the one NPC in the tent who suspects he might be less real than his colleagues.
