Enforcer for the <Redacted>

Examination block · the System will not name the faction

A new line on a mob's description that the System refuses to expand. Examining the casino croupier returns his name, level and job, the usual insult, and then two flat statements: that he is an Enforcer for a redacted faction, and that soldiers of that faction may not be further examined until a redacted condition is met. Donut's Size Up gets the same wall — the target is explicitly protected from examination — and the other dealers and the gamblers at the empty table read at similar levels and build. Carl assumes it is connected to whatever Hamed has going on in the Cosmic Lounge and moves on, which is the wrong guess: the redaction is hiding the faction that sent the croupier to undermine Hamed. The same Enforcer line reappears when the thing drops its disguise, and only then does the System volunteer what it was hiding.
